Andhra Pesarattu /GreenGram Adai





Whole Green Gram  1cup
Rice – 2 tbsp
Red chilli – 4 to 5
Ginger – 1/2 inch piece
Onion, big - 1
Fennel seeds – 1/2 tsp
Salt – to taste
Oil – to cook


Soak Green gram and rice in a bowl about 6-7 hours.

Blend green gram,rice,red chilli,Fennel seeds and salt

In a pan heat oil,add Fennel seeds and onion fry some minutes.Pour the seasoning to the batter and mix well.

In a tawa spread the batter and add oil to cook.

Serve this Pesarattu along with coconut chutney.
