Kovakkai / Tindora Fry





Kovakkai / Tindora             1 Lb

Onion                                 1 medium

Mustard seeds                    1 tsp

Turmeric powder               1/4 tsp

Sambar Powder                2 tbsp

Salt to taste



Wash kovakkai and cut into lengthwise.


Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds. Once splutter add onion and cook till it translucent.

Add kovakkai ,salt and turmeric powder and cook for 2- 3 minutes.

Once kovakkai half done, add sambar powder and cook till it get cooked and kovakkai become crispy.

Serve hot with rice.
