Verkadalai / Ground nut / Peanut chutney



I'm love to have Verkadalai chutney for any kind of Idli or Dosa. Happy to post my favorite chutney.



To Grind

Roasted Peanut               1/2 cup

Red Chilli                       3 -4 Nos

Tamarind                       Small lemon size

Garlic                            2 -3 nos

To Temper

Mustard seeds         1 tsp

Curry leaves            5 -6 Nos


In blender blend all items under To grind with water as smooth paste and transfer into a serving bowl.

Heat oil in a pan , add mustard seeds,curry leaves. Once splutter add it to the chutney.

Serve hot with Idli or Dosa.
