Eggless Banana Chocolate Chip cookies

For  28th Potluck Party,cyber Style , i need to try Shree Rao's dish Egg less Banana chocolate cookie chip cookies.


All purpose Flour                      1 1/4 cup

Sugar                                          2/3 cup

Butter                                        1/2 cup (At Room Temperature)

Banana Puree                           1/4 cup

Chocolate chip cookies            1/2 cup

Baking Soda                             3/4 Tsp

Salt                                            1/8 tsp

Vanilla Extract                          2 tsp


In a mixing bowl  cream butter and sugar.Add vanilla and beat.

Now add Banana puree and beat well.

In a separate bowl sift  flour ,baking soda and salt.

Add the dry ingredients to wet little by little and form a soft dough. Finally fold in the Chocolate chips.

Cover the dough and refrigerate for 1 -2 hours.

Preheat the oven to 370F. Grease the Baking sheet

Remove the dough from refrigerator and foam a lemon size balls.

Place it in a Baking sheet 2 inch apart and Flatten gently using your palm or back of the spoon.

Bake it for 15 - 20 minutes or till edges turn to golden brown.

Remove from oven and let it cool on wire rack and then serve.

Banoffee Pie - SFC #3

For SFC international fusion recipe we need to do Banoffee pie. Its made with banana and Toffee.

I never tasted Banoffee pie before, but when it announced I'm very much eager to try this recipe.
But this dish is high in calorie, so want to make it as bite size. So i made it in the crust in muffin pan.

Yield : 10 Mini Banoffee Pie


Pie Base

Digestive Biscuits         300 grams

Butter                           6 Tbsp


Condensed milk         1 tin

Banana                        2 Nos

Heavy Whippin Cream 1 cup

Coco powder             To garnish


Powder the biscuits using food processor or placing it in a zip lock cover and crushed it using rolling pin.

Melt the butter , pour the batter little by little to biscuit crust and mix it well.

Insert the cup liner in muffin pan and spread the mixture tightly and the press base and sides by hand.

Cover it cling wrapper and  keep in refrigerate for 2-3 hours.

While crust getting cool in fridge make the Toffee using condensed milk.

Place unopened condensed milk in a big pot ,fill with water until the can immerse.

Boil for 2- 3 hours , make sure can immerse in water all the time.

Open the can when it is cool and take out the biscuit crust from fridge.

Slice the Bananas and spread 2-3 slice on top of each biscuit crust .

Spread 1-2 tbsp of toffee on top of it.

Put back into fridge until ready to serve.

While serving top it with whipping cream, dust over some coco powder and serve chill.

Chum Chum - SFC #3

Chum Chum or Cham Cham is a traditional Bengali recipe. Its more delicious and can served in different way. Making this chum chum for Sweet Fantasy Group of  Simply Tadka.

For this group we need to cook two common sweet recipes and post on every month of 21st and 22nd. One of these will be Indian sweet or desserts,another one will be International or fusion desserts.

Recipe Adapted From : BoldSky

Milk                              4 cups

Lemon Juice                 2 Tbsp

Sugar                           2 cups

Water                            4 cups

Saffron                         Few strands

Food color                  A pinch (optional)


In a heavy bottom pan , heat milk. When starts boiling add lemon juice tbsp by tbsp.

Milk will start curdle ,when the whey completely separated remove from heat.

Line the colander with muslin cloth and pour the curdled milk.

Paneer will be separated in the cloth. Gently rinse it cold water , to get rid of the lemon falvour.

Tie the end of the clothes , rain the water completely by hanging it for an hour.

After the water drained completely, knead it into smooth and soft dough using your Palm.

 Divide the Paneer into equal size balls and make a log shape.

In a pan, add water and bring it boil. When it boils add sugar ,Saffron mix well until it completely dissolves. Boil in a medium flame.

Gently put the shaped paneer into sugar syrup and bring it to boil.Boil for a minute and then reduce to medium flame.

Cover and cook it for 10 -15 Minutes.  Paneer will absorb water and increase in size ,at that time open the lid and cook it until the balls turns sponge.Switch off the flame and let it cool.

Remove it from sugar syrup ,squeeze excess syrup and garnish with Saffron strands or nuts.

Serve it chill.


  • If you want add food color to while kneading Paneer.

Palak Paneer Bhurji

It is a easy recipe , can be made in a less time.It can be used as stuffing for Sandwich or Masala Dosa.
Palak and Paneer is a good combo. 


Palak / Spinach                  1 bunch

Paneer                                1 cup (Grated)           

Onion                                 1 small

Grenn chilli                        2 Nos

Chilli Powder                    1/4 tsp

Coriander Powder            1/2 tsp

Cumin Powder                1/4 tsp

Gram Masala                   1/4 tsp

Ginger garlic Paste           2 tsp

Coriander Leaves            1 Tbsp (Chopped)

Salt to Taste


Heat oil in a pan , add ginger garlic paste cook until it turns brown.

Then add onion ,cook till it turns golden brown. Add green chilli and all the spice powder ,salt and cook until raw smell goes.

Now add spinach, cook until it looses water. Add grated paneer and mix well.

Cook it for 2 -3 minute , add coriander leaves. Serve hot with rice or roti.

Eggless Tutti Frutti Cookies

Going to have a Christmas in 14days but not yet posted any baking recipes for Christmas. Last year itself i thought of posting, that is the time i started learning baking.So not able to do so.This year i made my mind to make some Christmas recipes.

These Tutti Frutti cookies are not only easy to make and also addictive one.

All Purpose Flour                              1 cup

Butter                                                6 Tbsp (At room Temperature)

Powdered Sugar                                1/2 cup

Tutti Frutti  / Dried Fruit                   1/3 cup

Milk                                                  1- 2 Tbsp

In a bowl mix butter and sugar until creamy.

Add flour and Dried Fruits and mix well. Add milk to little by little and form a sticky dough.

Shape the dough into log shape and cover it with butter paper. Freeze the dough about 30 - 40 minutes.

Take out from freezer and cut into slices.

Preheat oven to 350F and bake it for 10 - 15 minutes.


  • These cookies moist when hot,once cool down it will be crispy.

Kollu Thogayal 10th December Potluck Party, Cyber Style

After made kollu Idli, I forgot about this totally.When i cleaned my pantry i found this packet.
So i have to get rid of this soon,so started thinking what else can made with this?
While chit chatting with my friend ,she told about this Thogayal.

I'm preparing this for Potluck Party Cyber style hosted by Jagruti's Cooking Odyssey . For this party we have cook on every 10th of every month and we have to cook other participant  recipe on 28th of every month. So excited to attend this cyber party for the first time.

Kollu / Horse Gram                           2 Tbsp

Channa Dal                                        2 Tbsp

Urad dal                                            1 Tbsp

Tamarind                                           small Gooseberry size

Coriander Leaves                             2 -3 Strands

Red Chilli                                          6 -7 Nos

Salt to taste

To Temper

Mustard Seeds                       1 tsp


In a pan dry roast horse gram ans kept in a separate plate. In a same pan dry roast channa dal,Urad dal and keep in a same plate.

In a Same pan , add red chilli ,coriander leaves and fry for few minutes.

In a blender , blend the dry roasted ingredients with tamarind, salt and water as a coarse paste.

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds once splutter pour it to the horse gram mixture.

Serve it along with rice ,Idli or Dosa.

Idli Podi

Idly podi is must item in our home. I love having idli and dosa with this spice powder.Usually when ever we travel from idea,i used get kgs idli podi prepared  and packed by MIL for us.Last time got podi was over. I never like store bought one. So started preparing on my own.

Urad Dal                          1 cup

Channa Dal                       1/2 cup

Red chilli                          8 - 10 Nos

Garlic                                6-7 pods

Curry Leaves                    5 -6 Strands

Salt to taste

Heat pan first dry roast red chilli and curry leaves till turns crisp and transfer it to plate.
Then in the same pan add urad dal until turns brown or nice aroma comes and transfer into same plate.

In the same pan dry roast channa dal till turns golden brown and transfer to plate.

Let the ingredients cool completely,transfer into blender with salt.

Blend it as a coarse powder.

Enjoy it with Idly or Dosa.

Eggless Dates Cake

My hubby always ask me to bake with wheat flour.A year back when i saw this dates cake with wheat flour in Spicy treats ,want to try out immediately .That is time i started learning baking so it didn't come out well. Now i wont say I'm became expert in baking, but corrected the mistakes made last time , now  it came out really well.


Wheat Flour           
1 ¼  cup
All purpose Flour
¼ cup
½ cup
20 Nos
¼ Tsp
Baking Powder
¼ Tsp
Baking Soda
2 Tsp
½ cup
1 ½ cup
½ Tsp
Chopped Nuts,Raisins
¼ cup
Soak Dates in 1/2 cup of warm milk for half an hour and then grind it to smooth paste.

Preheat the oven to 350F.Grease the baking pan with oil.

In a mixing bowl, take milk and sugar, whisk until sugar dissolves.

Add oil/butter (melt the butter if using) ,vanilla,salt and dates mix well.

In a separate bowl sift wheat flour,all purpose flour,baking soda and baking powder.

Mix the dry ingredients to wet by adding gradually. At last add chopped nuts and raisins.

Pour it to baking pan and bake it for about 40 -50 or until tooth pick inserted comes out clean.

Rajma Masala | Red Kidney Bean Masala

Rajma masala is an authentic Punjabi recipe.Best combo for Roti or chappathi. Kidney bean has many health benefits , it has good source of cholesterol-lowering fiber, as are most other beans. In addition to lowering cholesterol, kidney beans' high fiber content prevents blood sugar levels from rising too rapidly after a meal, making these beans an especially good choice for individuals with diabetes.

Rajma                         3/4 cup

Onion                         1 Nos

Tomato                      2 Nos

Ginger Garlic paste   1 tsp

Red chilli powder      1/2 tsp

Coriander Powder     1 tsp

Cumin Powder          1/4 tsp

Garam masala           1/4 tsp

Cumin seeds             1 tsp

Salt to taste

Wash and soak Rajma for over night. Pressure cook Rajma with salt it for  5-6 hisses.

Heat oil in pan, add cumin seeds,Once splutter add ginger garlic paste. Cook until it raw smell goes.

Add chopped onions , cook till it become translucent.

Add tomatoes, all masalas,salt and cook till the tomatoes become juicy and separates from the sides.

Add cooked rajama along with the water , and mix well. (Add more water if required.)

Let it cook until rajma coated well the gravy.

Serve hot with Chappathi or rice.

Kothavarangai Paruppu Usili

I tasted the Paruppu Usili's only in restaurant .In my house hold Usili's are not even cooked once.
I want to try Paruppu usili with cluster beans when ever i bought ,but not able to do so. I tried for the first time and it came out very well.

Cluster Beans                  2 cups

Toor dal                       1/8 cup

Channa Dal                  1/8 cup

Red chilli                     2 Nos

Mustard seeds             1 tsp

Curry Leaves             5-6 Nos

Turmeric powder      1/4 tsp

Hing  a small pinch

Salt to taste

Cook cluster beans till turn soft and keep it aside

Soak the channa Dal and Toor dal for an hour.Drain water blend it along with the red chillis in a blender as a coarse mixture.

Steam cook the Dal mixture for 5 - 10 minutes.Once cool down scramble and keep aside.

Heat oil in pan , add hing, mustard seeds, curry leaves. Once splutter add dal mixture and cook for 2-3 mins.

Then add cooked cluster beans,mix well and cook for 2 minutes.

Serve hot with rice and curry.

Wheat Flour Laddo

Another easy Diwali  sweet recipe, which can be made in less time. Its easy and health recipe can be made in no time.

Wheat Flour                 1 cup

Ghee                            1/2 cup

Sugar                           1/2 cup

Cardamom                 3 -4 Nos

Dry roast the wheat flour until it becomes golden color.

Melt the gee,powder the sugar along with cardamom.Now add ghee and powdered sugar to flour and mix well.

Shape the laddo and garnish with desired nuts.

Almond Kulfi | 100th Post

Kulfi is my ever time favorite from childhood. In summer holidays me n my cousins  used to visit our Grandma's home in Chennai. During that time, we nag our grandma for kulfi every day.When the kulfi man bells we all go and round her. First she will refuse to give money after that she say, today only i will give. But it will continue every day. Missing those childhood days.

Adopted this recipe from here. It is my 100th post, very glad to achieve this.I would have reach this 6 month before.Due to my laziness, took this much time. 

Almond                   1 cup (Grounded)

Condensed milk       1 1/2 cup

Whipping cream       1 cup

Pistachio                   1/2 cup

Mix all the ingredients except Pistachio in a bowl. Beat the mixture for about 2-5 minutes to make it soft.

Pour mixture into kulfi mould , Sprinkle some pistachio and freeze it about 8 to 10 hours.

Almond Kulfi is ready to serve.

Paneer Mutter Masala

Want to do this Paneer Mutter Masala when ever i bought Paneer from grocery. But every time i will end with Palak Paneer or Kadai Paneer. This time i made this yummy dish

Paneer                                   1 cup (cubed)

Green peas                            3/4 cup (Frozen / Boiled)

Cashews                                5 -6 Nos

Onion                                    1 No

Tomato                                  1 No

Chilli Powder                        1/2 tsp

Coriander Powder                 1 tsp

Ginger Garlic paste               1 tbsp

Turmeric powder                  1/4 tsp

Cream                                  1/4 cup

Coriander Leaves for Garnish

Salt to taste

Heat oil in a pan, fry cashew ,onion and tomatoes and let it cool down.

Once cooled blend it in a blender with ginger garlic paste as a fine paste.

Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds , once splutter add grounded paste , turmeric powder,chilli powder, coriander powder and salt. Cook it until spices get done.

Add green peas ,water and bring it to boil.Add Paneer, reduce heat to low and cook for some more minutes.

Before switching off the flame add cream and garish with coriander leaves

Serve hot with Roti or Naan.

Besan Laddo

Diwali fever started. So started preparing easy Diwali sweets and snacks. Besan laddo is very simple we can make within 5 to 10 mins.Starting the Diwali sweets preparation with this Besan laddo.

Besan                         1 1/2 cup

Sugar                         3/4 cup

Gee or butter              1/2 cup

cardamom Powder     1/4 tsp

Raisins or nuts to garnish

In a pan , put besan and butter and cook untill it turns light brown color or besan start to smell.

Switch off the stove , remove besan from the pan and let it be cool to warm.

While it is warm, mix sugar and cardamom powder and make the balls.

Garnish with nuts or raisins.

Coffee Cake with Crumb Topping

Easy, delicious and healthy Quick coffee cake with the crumb topping. Taste great as morning treat or an evening snack.

Crumb Topping

Cashew , Almonds                 1 cup (Chopped)

Sugar                                      1/4 cup

Chocolate Chips                     1/3 cup

All purpose flour                    1 Tbsp

Coffee Cake

All purpose Flour                  1 1/4 cup

Baking Soda                          1 tsp

Baking Powder                     1 tsp

Salt                                        1/4 tsp

Egg                                       2 large

Butter                                  1/2 cup (1 Stick)

Vanilla Extract                   1 tsp

Curd / Yogurt                     3/4 cup

Crumb Topping

In a separate bowl mix nuts ,sugar chocolate chips and flour in a separate bowl and keep aside

Coffee Cake

Preheat the oven to 350 degree F

In a separate bowl mix the flour,baking soda,baking powder and salt.

In a bowl beat the butter and sugar until fluffy and soft.

Add egg one at a time and beat well.

Add vanilla extract and mix well.

Add flour and yogurt alternatively in three addition and mix well.

Pour half of the batter in a square pan , Sprinkle half of the crumb topping over the batter.
Pour the remaining batter and top sprinkle the crumb topping.

Bake it in a oven for 40 - 45 minutes or until the tooth pick inserted comes out clean.

Remove from oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes.

Slice it and enjoy with your coffee.

Raw Papaya Thogayal

Papaya  has so many health benefits.It is excellent source of fiber and rich in vitamin A and C.

In a every day health papaya works magic on developing the immune system and preventing the recurrent colds and flu. It also boosts the milk production in nursing mothers.So it good to take the papaya once in a week.

Papain is also being studied for relief of cancer therapy side effects, especially relieving side effects such as difficulty swallowing and mouth sores after radiation and chemotherapy as well as boosting up the immune system and helping body to fight the cancer.

To Grind

Raw green Papaya                   1 cup (Chopped / Grated)

Red Chilli                                 6 -7 Nos

Urad Dal                                  1 Tbsp

Tamarind                                 Small Marble size

Ginger                                     2 inch

To Temper

Mustard Seeds                          1 tsp


Salt to taste

Dry roast item given under to grind and let it cool down.

Grind it along with small amount water and salt as a fine paste.

Heat oil in a pan , add mustard seeds once splatter add the ground paste.  Let it cook until the sides separate from the pan.

Carrot Muffins

 I grated the carrot for doing carrot kheer , but suddenly changed my mind and did this muffin. Its good to start a day with this healthy muffin.Below recipe can be made either as a carrot muffin or a cake.

All purpose Flour                                          1 1/3 cup

Carrot grated                                                 1 cup

Egg                                                                2 Nos

Sugar                                                            3/4 cup

Baking  Powder                                            1 tsp

Baking Soda                                                  1/2 tsp

Oil                                                                  1/2 cup

Salt                                                                1/4 tsp

Vanilla Extract                                              1/4 tsp

Preheat the oven to 350 degree F.

In a bowl sift flour,sugar,baking soda,baking powder and salt.

In a separate bowl whisk egg,oil and vanilla extract. Fold the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients along with the carrot. Mix well and divide the batter into muffin pan.

Bake it for 20-25 minutes or until tooth pick inserted comes out clean.

Cool the muffin in the wire rack for 10 minutes and then serve.

Aval Idly | Poha Idly

Every day when i wake up i think from today i have to blog daily. But i'm not able to do that because my lil one always wants me to with him to play or nap .He nap only for Half an hour and he will awake for small sounds. So i have to cook n do my household activities within that half an hour without making noise(really its a tough job).My stories apart lets come back to recipe.

Most of people in south India take idly as breakfast and it is first food baby. As i south Indian i'm also started giving Idly as a first food to my lil one. So i wanted to prepare a soft idly. One of my friend told if you add a fistful of aval | Poha while grinding idly batter you can make soft idlies. Immediately i implemented it and the idly came out as super soft.

Idly Rice                      1 cup

Urad Dal                      1/2 cup

Aval | Poha                  1/4 cup or Fistful

Fenugreek Seeds           1 tsp

Wash and Soak rice and urad dal with fenugreek seeds in separate containers for atleast 5-6 hours.

Grind the rice along with Aval / Poha to smooth paste by adding water.

Grind the urad dal to fine paste.

Mix both rice and dal with salt. Ferment for over night

Steam it in a Idly mold. The Soft Idlies are ready to serve.

Oats, Nuts and Dates Laddo - Sugar free

I always bored to take a Dates as it.So i add dates in milkshake and in some other form.In my pantry last cup of oats sitting for long time.To empty the pocket i tried this laddo and come out very well.
Very tasty and healthy laddo.

Oats                               1 cup

Dates                             10 - 12Nos

Nuts                               1/2 cup (Cashew,Walnut and Almonds)

Ghee / Oil                     To make balls

Dry roast and powder the oats in a blender.

Powder the nuts and make a paste of dates.

Mix the above ingredients and make a ball using ghee or oil.

Tasty and Healthy laddo ready to serve.

Aval Payasam | Poha Kheer

I'm blogging after a long gap.Now i'm regularized with my baby's sleeping pattern. So now i'm finding some time to blog.

After the recovery from the delivery i want to celebrate my lil arrival with simple sweet. So i made this Payasam.

Aval                               1/2 cup

Milk                               1 cup

Sugar                             1/2 cup

Cardamom Powder       1tsp

Cashew  & Raisin        As per taste

Ghee                             1 tsp               

Heat ghee in a pan , add Aval and roast still color changes.

Boil the milk ,add Aval and cook till the Aval get cooked.

Add sugar,cardamom powder and switch off the flame.

In a pan roast the cashew and raisins , added it to the Payasam and serve hot.

Rava Pongal

Rava / Sooji                      1 cup

Moong Dal                       1/2 cup

Pepper                              1 tbsp

Cumin seeds                     1 tbsp

Ginger                              1 tbsp

Cashew Nuts                   1 tbsp

Curry Leaves                   5 -6 Nos

Ghee                               2 tbsp

Salt to taste

Cook moong dal using cooker or stove top and keep aside.

In a pan take 2 cups of water and bring it to boil. Once boiled add rava and cook till done.

Add salt , cooked moong dal and mix well.

In a pan, add ghee ,roast cashew and add to pongal. In a same pan add pepper,cumin seeds,ginger and curry leaves. Once splutter add this mixture to pongal.

Mix well and serve hot.

Broccoli Soup (without Corn Flour)

Its really very nice to having hot soup in a cold weather. That too if having healthiest soup is added advantage.

Broccoli                         1 cup

Onion                             1/2 cup

Garlic                             8 - 10 Nos

Heat oil in a pan, saute onion , garlic and broccoli for 5 minutes. Then add some water ,salt and cook till broccoli gets softened.

Cool down and blend it in a blender.

In a pan boil the blended mixture for  5 -10 minutes with small amount of water.

Transfer it to the serving bowl,sprinkle some pepper and serve hot.

Vanilla Biscuits

In my childhood i don't like to drink milk. So my mom started to give milk in the form of coffee or health drinks.But one day i tasted the coffee with biscuit dipped in it. After that i love to have biscuits with coffee till now. Having hot coffee with biscuit dipped in it in a cold weather is amazing. No one snack can beat this.

All purpose flour                               1 cup

Sugar                                                 1/2 cup

Baking powder                                 1 tbsp

Vanilla Esance                                  2 tbsp

Whipped silken Tofu                        1/4 cup or 1egg

Butter                                               5 Tbsp

In a bowl Cream the butter with sugar. Then add egg and beat well.

Add vanilla essance and beat well.

Sift the flour and baking powder separately and keep aside.

Now add the dry ingredients slowly and make a soft dough.

Roll the dough and use a cookie cutter to make required shape.
Grease the cookie sheet and place the shaped cookies. Bake it for 20 - 30 minutes or until the color changed to brown.

Cool it wire rack and enjoy it with Hot coffee.

Peerkangai Thol Thogayal | Ridge Gourd Skin Thogayal

Peerkangai Thol thogayal is simple and healthy recipe. This thogayal can be have along with idly,dosa and hot steamed rice.

Peerkangai Thol                            1/2 cup

Urad Dal                                       1 Tbsp

Redchilli                                       4 -5 Nos

Tamarind                                      Small marble size

Mustard seeds                              1 tsp

Curry leaves                                4 -5 Nos

Oil                                               4 Tbsp

Salt to taste

Dry roast Urad dal , Red chilli and Peerkangai skin. Let it cool down.

In blender, blend the dry roasted ingredient along with tamarind.

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and curry leaves. Once sputter add the blended paste and boil for 5  -7 minutes.

Vegan Orange Cake

I never known about vegan dishes before started blogging. I thought vegan dishes are vegetarian dishes. After searched only i came to know thought it is dish which doesn't include animal products.
Wanted to try one vegan recipe how it will be. Adopted the recipe from Tickling palates.

All purpose Flour                               2 cups

Sugar                                                  1 cup

Orange Juice                                      1/2 cup

Baking powder                                  1 Tsp

Baking Soda                                      1 Tsp

Water                                                3/4 cup

Olive Oil                                          1/2 cup

Salt                                                   1/4 Tsp      

Preheat the oven to 350F and grease the loaf pan or Bundt pan keep aside.

In a bowl mix all the dry ingredients.

In another bowl mix the orange juice , water and olive oil. Mix dry ingredients slowly to it.

Pour this batter into prepared pan and bake it for 1 hour or the skewer comes out clean. (Mine got cooked in 1h 10 mins).

Take out and let it cool down. Slice and serve.

kollu idly

Every week i prepare idly batter. Bored of doing regular idly so experimenting different kind of idly every week. This kollu idly is healthy one. Who wants to reduce weight have to take kollu in their diet.

Idly rice                          1 cup

Urad Dal                        1/2 cup

Kollu Dal                       1/2 cup

Fenugreek Seeds           1 Tbsp

Wash and soak rice,urad dal and Kollu for 4 - 5 hours.

Grind every thing separately , mix it and ferment for 8 - 9 hours or overnight.

Grease the idly mould , pour spoonful of batter and cook it for 15 - 20 minutes.

Serve it along with chutney or sambar.

Capsicum Rice

Its a simple and easy dish. I book marked this recipe in Sharmi's place long back.

Cooked Basmati Rice                   1 cup

Capsicum                                    1/2 cup

Roasted Peanut                           2 tsp

Mustard seeds                            1 tsp

Curry leaves                               3-4 No

Salt as required

To Grind and Paste

Coriander seeds                     1.5 tsp

Red chili                                2

Jeera                                     1/4 tsp

Channa dal                          1.5 tsp

Urad Dal                             1 tsp

Cinnamon                           1 inch

Dry roast the ingredients under "To grind and paste" and blend it in a blender as a powder.

Heat oil in a pan , add mustard seeds and curry leaves. once splutter add capsicum and cook for  2 minutes.

Add the grounded powder and saute for 2 minutes. Now add cooked rice,required salt and mix well.

Add roasted peanuts , chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with raita
