Red Capsicum Chutney

If you bored with making regular chutney, try this spicy tangy Red capsicum chutney.Then this will added into your usual chutney menu.Capsicums are rich in Antioxidants. Specially Red capsicums  are high in Vitamin C.


Red Capsicum                       1 nos

Garlic                                    2 -3 pods

Red Chilli                              2 -3 Nos

Tamarind                               a small marble size

Peanut                                   2 tbsp

Urad Dal                               1 tbsp

Oil                                         1 tbsp

Salt to taste


In a pan dry roast Peanut and keep aside.

In a same pan ,add oil and fry red chilli ,Garlic, Urad Dal other one by one. Let it them coo.

Blend it in a blender along with Peanut , tamarind ,salt and water as a smooth paste.

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and curry leaves. Once splutter add this to chutney.

Serve with Idly or Dosa.
