Bread Potato Balls

Had a bread packet expiring today ,so want to make some thing out of it. But with less calorie. So choose to make  bread balls with veggies in my fridge.You can add whatever veggie you want. I decided to make it as less calorie so made it in paniyaram pan or you can either deep fry or shallow fry.


Whole Wheat Bread                4 Slices

Potato                                       1 No

Grean Peas                              1/4 cup

Onion                                      1 No

Ginger                                    1/4 inch

Green chilli                           2 -3 Nos

Coriander Leaves                 2 tbsp

Salt to taste


Pressure cook potato and green peas for 2 -3 hisses.Once pressure released mash potato and green peas and keep aside

Trim the edges of the bread and mash along with little amount of water

 Add mashed potato mixture to the bread.Add chopped onion ,ginger ,green chilli and coriander leaves and add required amount of salt mix well.

Divide in to equal size balls, heat paniyaram pan ,drizzle some oil in each hole.

Put the divided ball in a each hole and cook on both the sides.

Serve it with chutney or you have as it is.
